Wait, what?

The Science Party is registered federally, which means it can run candidates under the party name in federal elections.

To run Science Party candidates in state or local council elections, we need to register separately with the state and territory electoral commission, which each have different rules for registration.

To stay registered for NSW council elections, we need signed membership forms from at least 100 NSW-based members. When we gather 750 signed forms, we will register for NSW state elections.
